1853 - Balconia Mine. September 4, 1996. These ruins are located beside a porphyry dike on the south side of Mount Lincoln. They are west of the Russia Mine and slightly higher. In lower right are the ruins of the Balconia. Above and to the right is the Russia Mine, while at the extreme upper left in the photo is the summit of Mount Lincoln. There are 2 people on the summit.
